OUR STORY
With nearly three decades of experience as a registered nurse and now an Independent Nurse Prescriber, Dr Nicky Westwood brings a deeply personal, medical, and holistic approach to aesthetics. As the founder of Aesthetic Balance, she set out to create a practice grounded in the belief that true beauty begins with balance.
Starting her career in surgical nursing before progressing to Specialist Practitioner and District Nursing Sister roles, she provided compassionate, person-centred care to patients and families. Her commitment to individual wellbeing later led her into higher education, where she supported the mentoring and training of the next generation of healthcare professionals.
Alongside her extensive clinical career, Nicky holds a Doctorate in Health and Wellbeing, as well as a range of advanced academic and professional qualifications.
Aesthetics offered Nicky a new way to connect with people, merging her medical expertise with the joy of helping others feel confident in their own skin. Her approach focuses on enhancing natural features, restoring harmony, and delivering bespoke treatments tailored to the individual.
